Expert Verdict — Reviewed by the SuperArbor Pro Desk
Foilastic tape is a go-to for sealing wide laps, penetrations and repair details where a 9 in. width saves cutting narrower strips. Apply to clean, dry surfaces and roll the tape down firmly to activate the rubber adhesive; in cold weather allow for the -30 F rating but expect slower adhesion. Pair with compatible sealants at terminations where the tape edge needs to be capped.
Foil edges and utility knife cuts can be sharp; wear gloves and eye protection when cutting and applying flashing tape.
