These hinges are a type of hinge that has a spring built into it so when you start to close a cabinet door, the spring, at some point, takes over and pulls the cabinet door closed with a tap. Half overlay hinges are useful for pairs of doors in the middle of a run of cabinets. These hinges used everywhere, from kitchen to office in frameless cabinets. NOTE: Our hinges are for frameless cabinets.
