Scotts Color Advantage used in Earthgro Mulch guarantees year-long color. Made from forest products, the mulch conserves soil moisture, moderates soil temperature, and blocks weed growth and sunlight access at a 3-in. depth. To maintain color longest, keep the mulch dry for 24 hours after application. For optimal results, turn or rake the top 1 in. of mulch every 3-4 months to maintain color and deter weeds. The wood composition also enhances the landscape's beauty and conserves soil moisture and moderate temperature.
